Free shipping applies to chairs delivered anywhere in the lower 48 states, and parts of Canada. All chairs will be drop shipped directly to you from Pride Mobility Products or Golden Technologies.
You will be notified by the trucking company 24 hours in advance of your lift chair delivery. Actual delivery times will vary depending on your location and which lift chair you selected. In-stock chairs can be delivered in a few days. We will advise you via e-mail as to what your expected ship date and delivery date will be.
Your lift chair will be delivered by truck line directly to your home; 1st floor delivery, no steps. The driver will bring the chair to your door. They do not take it out of the box due to liability reasons. Customers then install the battery backup themselves (two 9 volt batteries are needed). An elevator must be available for second story or higher deliveries.
We do have an optional service called "In home set-up". You are contacted with the name of the set-up technician who will set-up the lift chair in your home. When the chair arrives, you simply contact the technician, who will then take the chair out of the box, plug in the battery back up and haul off the cardboard upon arrival. This must be a first floor delivery or be elevator accessible.
We also have a "Platinum White Glove Delivery". The chair is shipped to the technicians directly, who will then contact you to make an appointment 24 hours in advance of delivery. This is a two person delivery, who will then take a chair up or down one flight of stairs, place the chair in the room of your choice, install the backup batteries and haul off the cardboard. If you have senior parents and you are in a different state, this is the best delivery option available.
